Tattoo Aftercare

We do our part in the chair — clean ink, clean lines. The next two weeks are yours. Follow this and your tattoo looks great for decades. In Indian heat and humidity, the basics matter even more.

The first four weeks

Four simple stages from fresh ink to fully healed.

i.

Day 0–2 · the wrap

Leave the wrap on for 2–4 hours (or as we tell you). Remove it with clean hands, wash gently with lukewarm water and a fragrance-free soap, pat dry — never rub.

ii.

Day 2–14 · wash & moisturise

Wash twice a day and apply a thin layer of the aftercare cream we give you. Thin, not thick — the skin needs to breathe. It will feel tight and start to flake; that’s normal.

iii.

Week 2–4 · let it peel

Light scabbing and peeling is part of healing. Do not pick or scratch — you’ll pull out ink and risk patchy lines. Keep moisturising until the skin feels normal again.

iv.

After · protect it

Once healed, sunscreen is the single best thing for keeping a tattoo crisp for life. If a line needs tidying within three months, the touch-up is on us.

Do & don’t

While it heals — roughly the first two weeks.

Do

Wash gently twice a day with clean hands.
Apply a thin layer of aftercare cream.
Wear loose, clean clothing over the area.
Sleep on clean sheets; keep it dry and airy.
Call us the moment anything looks off.

Don’t

Pick, scratch or peel the scabs.
Soak it — no pools, sea, bath or sauna.
Sit in direct sun or use tanning beds.
Hit the gym hard or sweat heavily for a week.
Over-moisturise or smother it in thick cream.
